*Job Description:* *Role: Accountant- Audit Senior* *Location: Woodbury, NY* *Full-Time/Permanent * *Accountant -Audit Senior* We are a rapidly growing mid-sized CPA firm in Nassau County seeking a full-time Senior Audit Accountant with 5 plus years of CPA firm experience.
*Duties and Responsibilities* * Perform audits, reviews and compilations for clients in various industries * Coordinate the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up including engagement letter preparation, reconciling cash, bank, and other assets as well as vouching expenses and income.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls * Act as client contact; communicate effectively with clients and develop positive relationships with client personnel * Prepare business entity tax returns for various industries * Developing analytical reports for variances in income and expense reports *Desired Skills and Experience:* * Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and budget * organized and Detail oriented * Strong work ethic * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Professional behavior: Works effectively in a team environment * QuickBooks, Knowledge of Ultra Tax Preferred Job Type: Full-time Salary: $90,000.
