PAYROLL COMPLIANCE AUDITORS - ENTRY LEVEL

Well established public accounting firm located in Woodbury, Long Island is seeking an auditor to work in the firm's Payroll Compliance Audit department.
This position requires 25 to 30% of local travel.
Experience a plus but will train the right candidate.
*Responsiblities* -Scheduling and coordinating on site audit appointments with employers/contractors.
-Analyzing and reviewing payroll, payroll taxes, personnel records and union contracts to determine employer compliance.
-Computing audit results and preparing audit reports.
*Job Requirements :* -Associates degree required/Bachelors preferred.
Must be business related degree.
-Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
-Detail and number oriented focus.
-Ability to work independently as well as with others.
*-Car necessary.
