JR BOOKKEEPER (FARMINGDALE, NY)

Company Description Chintaly Imports has been importing and distributing fine furniture for over twenty years.
Our warehouse and office is based in Farmingdale NY, and we deliver quality furniture and excellent service to top retail and e-commerce customers across the country.
Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Bookkeeper.
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of maintaining financial records, including creating and maintaining financial statements, bookkeeping, and journal entries.
This role will be located in Farmingdale, NY, but will be flexible with some remote work.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Qualifications • Knowledge and experience in financial statements, bookkeeping, and journal entries • Experience with accounting software • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles • Keen attention to detail and accuracy • Organization and time management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred, but not required
