*Job Description:*
We are actively seeking a Senior Audit Accountant with four or more years of recent public accounting experience, who possesses a strong desire to excel professionally.
_*A SIGNING*_ _*INCENTIVE COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE*_ will be awarded to the right candidate.
*Senior Audit Accountant responsibilities include:*
* Preparation of financial statements; review of financial statements for suitability of presentation and accuracy of disclosures
* Coordinate engagement workflow
* Preparation of workpapers; review of workpapers for accuracy and completeness
* Oversee maintenance and analysis of the general ledger (prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, etc.
)
* Ensure books and financials are in accordance with GAAP or other required accounting standards
* Ensure accurate, timely and well documented month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and financial statement preparation
* Proactively build relationships with clients, and communicate effectively with them, in an ongoing effort to deliver superior client service
* Mentor and train junior staff members

* Possess strong review, research, and analytical skills
* Have the ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines and work within time constraints
* Exhibit high ethical standards and a strong work ethic
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting
* Four or more years of recent public accounting experience
