Vintage Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi V1 (Triangle) '69/'70 Perf Board! - $3,000 (Lindenhurst)

Extremely rare early V1 Triangle Big Muff Pi, original hand-wired perf board circuit dates from 1969/1970.
Just completely gone through, one cap leg resoldered into place, new 9v battery clip installed, all pots, jacks and switches cleaned.
One replaced knob.
Have not seen another one with these early construction features anywhere online.
A unique feature of this particular unit is that the Tone control was wired backwards at the factory! That is, turning the Tone knob clockwise increases thickness and bass, counterclockwise thins the low end for more treble - exactly opposite of what you'd expect (and was the "standard").
My research indicates that this indeed did happen with some of the earliest hand-built units.

All pots date from 1966.
