The Rallye Motor Company, is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman for our BMW location! The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable with experience working as a foreman at a BMW center and looking to join a team whose values are based in teamwork and delivering the highest caliber of customer service! The Shop foreman must ensure the quality of service work performed by fully utilizing all the resources of the service department.
Serve as a liaison between the service advisors and technicians as well to serve as coordinator and technical advisor for all repeat shop repairs.
Coordinate technical training for technicians to ensure to meet BMW minimum requirements.

Maintain contact with service customers on a timely basis.
Assist technicians with any and all repairs.
Ensure technicians follow warranty material disposition procedures.
Provide technicians and service advisors with technical information and repair procedures.
Review repair orders turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been performed and the repair order has been completed properly.
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat service customers by ensuring that customer vehicles are repaired and maintained properly—“fixed right the first time.
” Upgrade knowledge of BMW products and services and maintain professional and technical expertise by training on-the-job, and attending training programs.
Maintain the order and cleanliness of the workshop by daily inspections.
Maintain adequate supplies of equipment, tools, and shop supplies.
Operate and maintain the service department according to the safety and appearance standards established by Rallye BMW and BMW, and appropriate government entities.
Meet all requirements of Federal and State law dealing with automobile repair and consumer protection.
Willing to accept additional or different tasks when circumstances change (e.
g.
, emergencies, changes in personnel, work load, new technologies).
Supervisory Responsibility Assist with the assignment of repair orders and planning of work distribution.
Inspect the quality of work performed while in progress, and assist technicians with technical issues.
Provide technicians and service advisors with technical information and repair procedures.
Work to consistently improve effectiveness and efficiency of the Service Department by conducting in-center training and through coaching of technicians.
Increase staff's technical knowledge by coordinating training for service technicians, including attendance at BMW training seminars and workshops.
Assist Service & Parts Director with issues involving personnel, facilities, tools, or equipment that could affect productivity, efficiency, work quality, or customer satisfaction.
Coordinate information, processes and relationships with Service & Parts Manager, Service Advisors, Parts Manager, and Parts Counter Person.
Interact with customers to resolve vehicle problems, which have been difficult to isolate.
Rate of Pay: $130,000 - $150,000 (salary plus c Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum two year experience as a foreman at a BMW Center Experience supervising, coaching, delegating and training technicians.
Working knowledge or trainable in automotive retail center computer systems (CDK computer system preferred).
Knowledgeable or trainable on BMW Center operations as well as BMW products and services.
Technically knowledgeable and experienced on BMW product line.
BMW ASE certification.
MASTER BMW TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION WITH EV/HYBRID/DIESEL EQUIVALENTS Clean and valid driver’s license.
