Medical Biller/Poster

Advanced Dermatology is seeking a Medical Biller/Poster to join our team in our Commack location.
6 Months to 1 year of Medical Billing experience is required.
Pay Range: $21-$25 based on experience Medical Biller Responsibilities: Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies ensuring correct coding.
Ensuring the patient's medical information is accurate and up to date.
Preparing bills and invoices, and documenting amounts due for medical procedures and services.
Post payments to system and examining explanation of payment for accuracy and alerting AR follow-up team of any denials.
Reporting any trends in denied claims or payment discrepancies to management.
Medical Biller Requirements: A minimum of 6 months to a year of experience as a medical biller or similar role.
Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records.
Modernizing Medicine experience a plus.
Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities.
