Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities: - Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients - Perform medication inventory management and restocking - Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information - Follow aseptic technique guidelines when compounding sterile medications - Prepare and label medications for inhalation therapy - Assist in medication administration, including IV infusion, under the supervision of a pharmacist - Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective medication use Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience - Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, critical care environment - Prior experience in an acute care or hospital pharmacy setting is highly desirable We offer competitive pay and benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
