Dental Assistant

Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Relaxed atmosphere * Team approach to patient care ```Duties``` - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take dental x-rays - Perform dental charting and record patient information - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns ```Experience``` - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant preferred - Proficient in infection control protocols and aseptic techniques - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and materials - Ability to assist with front office duties, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining patient records Skills: - Dental assisting skills, including chairside assistance, instrument sterilization, and dental charting - Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and maintaining radiographic equipment - Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic technique to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff - Familiarity with dental imaging techniques for diagnostic purposes - Strong organizational skills to maintain patient records and assist with front office duties Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
