Overview:
The Leviton Finance team is looking for a Deductions Representative to join the Credit, Accounts Receivable & Claims department.
The Deductions Representative will be responsible for evaluating, processing, and resolving customer claims (deductions), utilizing various data files and systems.
Responsibilities:
Identify, research, and resolve debit issues
Data entry of returns and credit memos
Maintain, analyze and reconcile debits past due to include 30, 60, 90 and 120 days
Create and maintain reports to uncover and track claims issues
Interface with various departments such as outside salesforce, traffic, warehouse personnel, accounts receivable, and customers for resolution of claims
Escalates unresolved issues to supervisor/Manager
Participate in training new personnel as well as cross training existing personnel
Qualifications:
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
General understanding of claims (deductions) and collections
Must have good analytical and organizational skills
Education & Experience:
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general office practices
Travel:
No travel required for this position
