*CNC Machine Operator Trainee Position Overview:*
Operate CNC Swiss Screw machines and inspect finished parts.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
· Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection)
· Change tools.
· Make offsets.
· Load material and remove scrap.
· Fill out various paperwork.
· Simultaneous operation of multiple machines
· Minor troubleshooting
· Part inspection
*CNC Machine Operator Trainee Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):*
· Proven experience with lathe/mill turning machines.
· Knowledge and experience with Swiss Screw Machines is preferred.
(Tornos, Star, Citizen)
· Experience using the Fanuc control preferred.
· Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T symbols).
· Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills Etc.
)
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Good communication skills and positive can-do attitude
· Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques.
· Ability to read and write English.
*Physical requirements:*
· Ability to stand for several hours.
· Ability to lift 50lbs.
