lost keys in Bohemia (Tim Thortons gas station north service road sunrise hwy)

I lost the keys to my car, I left them on my roof and as I left the lot I noticed they car coming in hesitate.
When I finally saw the alert that my keys are not with me, I turned around on Southern State and came back.
I searched for like two hours knowing it was only a half mile stretch where they could have fell off.
My only hope is that the car coming in picked them up and will try and return them.
