Deli Counter Clerk

Deli Associate Duties: - Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items - Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including cleaning equipment and utensils - Assist with stocking shelves and rotating inventory - Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of food products - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department Experience: - Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions - Knowledge of basic math for accurate cash handling and inventory management - Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations - Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with customers At our company, we offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for growth within the organization.
