1920s-1930s Working Gray Telephone Pay & Western Electric Payphone - $1,000 (Levittown, NY)

Very hard to find original Gray Telephone Paystation Company & Western Electric 50G payphone.
Not a fake and not a 1960s phone converted to look older.
WE #6 dial real 10A transmitter mount.
The lock is a brass 29s.
While often reproed the receiver hook is an original.
The phone has been rewired to work as original connected to a ringer box or subset.
The phone and subest are attached with correct vintage (original) screws to the original wood back board.
The phone correctly wired to the subset.
I added a modular cord that can plug into your jack.
You can use it or replace it or if you want you can wire directly into the subset.
The phone works as a regular home phone.
The bells in the subset ring on incoming calls, the dial works, if you service supports pulse (rotary) you can make calls from the phone.
You can answer calls and talk with this phone.
The payphone comes with keys for both locks.
