This clear glass set has a pinwheel and star design, also known as a slewed horseshoe, and is believed to have been made by the L.
E.
Smith Glass Company in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.
The punch bowl (14" in diameter) has gorgeous scalloped edging.
It rests on a separate glass pedestal, together standing 13" tall and weighing a hefty 16 lb.
It was built for the ages.
The bottom of the pedestal is stamped "Pres Cut," indicating how it was produced.
It comes with eight matching cups with handles.
Cups measure 3" in diameter and 2.

The set is in wonderful vintage condition.
There are no breaks, chips or repairs.
It shows some light surface scratching/scuffing from use and few tiny bubbles, typical for the glass firing process.
The pedestal has a very fine 4" surface scratch.
This set has been in my family for more than 30 years, bought at an auction on Long Island.
It's a great piece of Americana and ready to be a showstopper in a new home.
